Missions at Cedar Creek

Here at Cedar Creek, we know that Jesus' command to make disciples applies to us. To be Christian implies being "on mission". We believe that the saving message of Jesus Christ needs to be heard by those across the street as well as those around the world.

There are many different opportunities to be involved in missions at Cedar Creek. Check out the links below for more information on how you can be involved in sharing the message of Christ.

South Asia

The modern mission movement was born in South Asia. We at Cedar Creek follow in that heritage by continuing that work. This region of the world remains one of the world most unreached. Of the 3,373 people groups identified, only 4% have been reached, which means that a full 96% have not only never heard of Jesus, but they will likely die without hearing unless we go and tell them.

You will find details of any upcoming opportunities to go right here.

Other Missions Opportunities

  • Outreach

Jesus called us to love and serve our neighbors. Outreach is servant-focused. We seek to welcome and extend ourselves to those in our community, especially those who enter our service(s). It is our goal to build relationships with those in our community with the hope of bringing them to salvation in Jesus Christ. We desire to make all first-time guests and members feel welcome. This includes but is not limited to warm greetings, information about church details and activities, and meeting all needs of guests, visitors, and members.

  • Short-Term Missions

Just as the first churches supported one another to advance the gospel, so we seek to advance the gospel through short-term missions. Specifically, we send teams twice a year to South Asia to deliver the gospel to unreached people groups. We also intentionally raise money to support missions through the Annie Armstrong, Leonard Hood, and Lottie Moon annual offerings.
