Community Groups

The gospel is not only good news of our reconciliation to God, but it also proclaims the reconciliation of all believers to one another in Christ. When God saves us, He makes us members of His family and gives us gifts for the purpose of serving one another in the church. God has designed our spiritual growth to take place within the context of community and has given each member a significant role to play in the building up of His church.

At Cedar Creek, Community Groups (CGs) exist as one of the primary ways we learn to love and serve one another as members of God's family. Groups of 10-20 people meet in each other's homes on a regular basis for prayer, encouragement, and fellowship around God's Word. As members meet together in their CGs, our hope is that they would be grounded in gospel truth, caring for one another's practical needs, and equipped for the work of ministry.
