Deacons

The Greek words for "DEACON" (diakonos, diakoneō, and diakonia) have a wide variety of meanings, but, in general, they refer to any kind of service that supplies the need of another person. 


Deacons are to care for the physical and/or temporal concerns of the church. By handling such matters, deacons free up the pastors (elders) to focus on shepherding the spiritual needs of the congregation.


Toward that end, our Cedar Creek Deacons desire to make themselves available to church members. Members with physical needs are encouraged to reach out to the deacons for assistance. They can be reached at the following email address:
